These are from last Christmas, when Eilidh came home.
Bonnie sure features a lot! Hmmm. Some of these were from the ballroom dance we went to in June, and some were taken after Sunday Mass recently. In the middle, Bonnie models one of the wonderful T-shirts I bought for her and Tully a few months back.
These are the beautiful flowers Mum sent to me! And below is a photo of the fish which Nick and the kids gave me. His name is Leo Hilary.
On Tuesday night we went to the Outback Steakhouse for dinner. It’s supposed to be an Australian themed restaurant but bears no resemblance to anything back home! However, it’s become a “tradition” to celebrate family birthdays here. This is because on the night we arrived in Houston, our hotel was right next to this restaurant and it was too late for room service when we arrived, so we simply walked over to this place. It was after 9pm and we were tired, jetlagged and very hungry. Anyway, the food and service were good, for all its un-Australian-ness! So we go there a few times each year for birthday celebrations.
Xavier and Nick are about to go back to Australia tomorrow. Nick is going for work, for 3 weeks and Xavier is going for an indefinite period of time.
Tully, Linus, and Felix before their haircuts recently.
Back in May, Bonnie came fifth place in her category of speech (Original Interpretation) at the Regionals for the National Christian Forensics and Communications Association, which is a large home schooling speech and debate league. We’re very proud of her!
A tolerably recent photo of the little boys and me.
Linus recently turned 10 and Felix turned 7. I think we forgot to take photos! But they had a few friends here and a pool party.
